Up for your consideration is a 1996/97 Serro Scotty Highlander Class C RV, built on a robust Dodge RAM 3500 chassis powered by the legendary Cummins 5.9L 12-valve diesel engine with the P7100 manual injection pump. With 95,XXX miles, this RV is a super cool rig for just about any adventurer… often dubbed the “poor man’s EarthRoamer” for its sturdy construction and off-road capability. These RVs are rare and hard to find.

  • Engine & Performance: Powered by the Cummins 5.9L 12-valve diesel engine with a P7100 manual fuel pump, known for its reliability, power, and decent fuel mileage. 
  • Low Mileage: 95,XXX miles, meticulously fleet-maintained history with tens of thousands of dollars in receipts.
  • Upgrades & Add-Ons: Features front and rear hitch mounts and an industrial fuel filtration system with water/air purge, and an exhaust brake. Recently replaced the lowers all the way around.  A roof-mounted solar panel to keep the house batteries charged.

  • Condition: This RV is in solid mechanical shape with excellent maintenance records. However, the interior is dirty from work use.  I gave it a “construction guy” cleaning, but it would benefit from a thorough cleaning. No Leaks. The generator runs, but I broke the throttle position rod. I’d planned to replace the generator with a solar unit and add more solar panels, so I haven’t had it repaired. It’s the perfect RV for someone ready to customize or remodel it for their own adventures.
